This enormous cave, located in France, leaves an incredible impression on visiting divers. It begins in the bed of the river Cele, in a very clear section of the river. The entrance is huge, 150m long and the width of a double garage door.

Further the cave forks into 2 passages. The first one, which is shallower, is about 10m deep, while the second one, running in exactly the same direction, is almost 20m deep. Both corridors merge again into one, creating a very interesting route. Choosing the deeper corridor, we can return to the exit through the shallower one.

Divers who are more experienced and equipped with scooters can continue deeper into Emergence du Ressel. This is where the recreation ends and the serious technical diving begins. Depths quickly increase to 50m and 77m, then the corridor leads us upwards and we end up in a dry chamber, located 2km from the entrance.
