Giotto, announced since last year, was supposed to have its premiere in May this year, however, due to minor complications, all those who were interested in its purchase had to postpone it for 3 months. After resolving minor technical issues, fully completed and ready to use, it finally hits the shelves of shops around the world.

The new computer from the Italian manufacturer, features Cressi’s two-gas RGBM algorithm developed by B. Winke based on the Haldane model, integrated with the RGBM factor to perform calculations during multiple repetition dives with different gas mixtures. In the two-gas model we have air and nitrox with the possibility to change underwater and a 9-tissue algorithm with half-lives from 2.5 to 480 minutes.

Giotto offers full data processing during dives and decompressions. The user has total control over the settings of parameters such as PO2 and FO2 in the range of 1.2 to 1.6 Bar and from 21% to 99% O2.

Partial specification:

– Gauge function: on / off

– Visual and acoustic alarms
– Backlit display
