The 7th day of Vertical Blue 2011 freediving competition brought another interesting results. The competition held in Long Island, Bahamas, will be remembered by many for a long time. Apart from many national records, the competitors managed to set several world records.

Natalia Molchanova achieved her goal. On the seventh day of the competition, with result 100m in 3min 42sec, she added to her collection, the fifth world record, becoming the owner of the best result in any freediving discipline. The road to the top was not easy, but after several failed attempts, her effort, persistence and incredible skills allowed the Russian to reach the desired goal.

Molchanova, who with her achievements is permanently inscribed in the pages of the history of the diving world. She celebrated her first success (150m DYN) on 2nd May 2003 in Limassol, Cyprus. Her latest success was her 30th successful attempt at a world record.
