At 95 years old, Ray Wooley is still an active diver. What’s more, Ray is regularly in the headlines of various media outlets, as he has been the world’s oldest diver for some time!

At the end of December last year, this World War II veteran officially became the world’s oldest diver, taking over the title from 1921-born Erwin Paul Staller, who dived into the big blue in 2014, aged 93 years and 163 days.

Since then, Wooley, who lives in Limassol, Cyprus, has only measured himself against himself. Fortunately, his health still allows him to screw this extraordinary Guinness record. We hope to continue to report more dives from the long-lived diver in the coming years!
