The three divers were delivered by boat to a buoy, which is a marker of the deepest spot in Lake Insko. The objective was to dive along the release line to a depth of 40 metres. In the course of covering the next metres, two of the divers turned back to the surface, splitting up with their companion.

As the dive was conducted using the facilities of the Pro Divers dive centre base, there is a description of the situation from the perspective of the centre staff on their facebook profile.

After finding the man’s body, rescuers performed CPR in an attempt to save the victim’s life. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. The 40-year-old resident of Szczecin died.
