4 Polish records at Apnea Festival Wroclaw 2011

Between 19 and 29 March 2011, the International Festival of Breath-hold Diving took place in Wrocław.

The two-day event was attended by 46 competitors from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. Four Polish records were set during the competition:

– Robert Cetler – 224 metres with mono fin (world record is 265 metres).
– Aleksandra Sulkiewicz – 2 Polish records. 154 metres with a mono fin and 155 metres without fins.
– Mateusz Malina – 165 metres without fins (the world record is 218 metres).

Also noteworthy is the result achieved by Robert Cetler in the statics. He lasted underwater, on hold, for 8 minutes and 17 seconds!

General classification of championships:
Champion of Poland – Robert Cetler
1st Vice Champion of Poland – Adrian Kwiatkowski
2nd Vice Champion of Poland – Aleksandra Sulkiewicz
