Suunto D5 dive computer - New!

Suunto D5 watch computer, is another novelty presented at the recent DEMA Show held in Las Vegas. The latest child of the Finnish brand, is at first glance a very interesting and aesthetically pleasing proposition, aimed at recreational divers.

The first thing that catches the eye is certainly the modern design. Suunto has long offered different variants of watch computers in the various variants of the “D” series, but the latest model, the D5, clearly distances itself from its prototypes, taking the best from the solutions and technologies available today.

The whole system was created so that the operation of the computer is simple, intuitive and does not pose too many problems. All operations in the device menu are carried out using 3 buttons. Modern display with a resolution of 320×300 pixels is very easy to read and the menu is simple and clear, so from the first moment you use Suunto D5 you can enjoy its possibilities.

Putting the computer on your wrist, you can choose one of 5 operation modes. In addition to diving on air or nirox (in mixtures up to 99% oxygen), you can also use the well-known gauge mode, freediving mode and, of course, the classic watch mode.

The computer ring is made of stainless steel and a mineral glass is embedded in it to protect the display. In turn, on the underside, a reinforced composite material was used to make the envelope. As for the strap, the manufacturer has implemented an easy exchangeability of this element, allowing to choose from a wide range of colours and materials.

The computer also has a dedicated app so we can add photos, videos and various information to our logs and share them with family and friends.
