Shearwater extends the warranty on its computers!

The Canadian manufacturer of high-end dive computers has announced that due to the current pandemic and the inability to dive freely, the warranty on Shearwater Research products will be extended.

From the information published on the manufacturer’s website, we can learn that the extended warranty has been extended to all Shearwater products purchased in 2020. Computers Teric, Perdix, Perdix AI, Petrel 2, iNerd 2 purchased at that time will be covered by the full warranty until January 1, 2023.

So whether you made your purchase in early 2020 or are just planning to buy a new computer, the manufacturer will easily cover it with an extended warranty period.

No additional registration or form filling is needed, just a dated proof of purchase.

We must admit that this is a nice gesture on the part of Shearwater Research, but rather symbolic. Products of this brand are known not only for their functionality and precision of indications and execution, but also for the fact that there are practically no problems with them. It is not surprising, therefore, that the message ended with a sentence:
