A diving escape room is being created in the waters of Vivian Quarry in north Wales. Puzzle rooms have become a very popular pastime, so it should come as no surprise that someone decided to finally go underwater with the theme.

Creating such an unusual attraction was the idea of two women – Clare Dutton founder of Duttons Divers dive centre and Leanne Clowes from Palaemon Divers dive centre. The dive escape room already has its own name – Scuba Escape.

The whole consists of six different games. The creators have announced that every fan of the underwater world should find something for themselves. Among the scenarios in the diving escape room we will be able to choose between disarming a nuclear bomb, finding hidden loot, rescuing a princess and avoiding predatory zombies.

Puzzles available in Scuba Escape In each of the selected variants of the escape room, six divers can take part at the same time. However, before the participants can start having fun and solving puzzles, the staff will conduct an introductory briefing. Each participant will also receive a special logbook, in which there is a place for a sticker certifying the completion of each scenario.

We are really excited about bringing something new and exciting to the UK diving industry. We can’t believe no one has done this before. We have deliberately not given out too many details about the escape room. We hope this will make it more surprising. I am sure our guests will not be disappointed. – Clare Dutton said

Those responsible for the creation of Scuba Escape believe that the creation of the diving puzzle room has come at the right time. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, travel to other countries is severely restricted. As a result, British divers will be looking to local attractions to spend time underwater.

What, where, when?

More information about the diving escape room and individual scenarios will be available in the coming weeks. The creators have announced that a marketing campaign will soon be launched to present and promote the new attraction.

If you want to stay up to date we recommend following the official website of Scuba Escape and profiles of the diving puzzle room in social media.
