Divesoft Freedom - OLED computer for every diver

A new dive computer has appeared on the Polish market – Divesoft Freedom. As assured by the manufacturer, the device meets the highest standards for this type of units and regardless of whether you are an experienced technical diver or a recreational fresher moving within the limits, it will be the perfect addition to make any dive safer and more comfortable.

Depending on the selected version of the Divesoft Freedom, we will be able to operate on up to 9 different gas mixtures. From air, through nitrox to trimix. The owners of rebreathers will not be disappointed either; their number is constantly growing and, due to the price of helium, the closed circuit seems to be the direction which is currently developing the most rapidly. For this type of units also Divesoft has provided a dedicated version of the software.

Without a doubt, it is the versatility of the Divesoft Freedom that can make many people buy one. Even if we are just starting our diving adventure, the Freedom proves to be an interesting choice. Along with our diving development, growing skills, experience and evolving equipment configuration, we can also develop the capabilities of the computer itself.

This is possible thanks to a system of updates that can be implemented as needed. There are currently 5 software versions available: Gauge, Basic Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox, Full Trimix and Closed Circut. As you can see, a clear division depending on your training and equipment allows you to choose the right version. Depending on the leap we want to make, the price of the upgrade will vary between €110 and €450.

Proven solutions and durability

The engineers at Divesoft have packaged the computer in an aluminium casing, resistant to all sorts of mechanical trauma that can occur during use or transport. As for the dive computer itself, the depth limit has been set at 300m, but to ensure reliability, each unit is tested under pressure at a depth of 600m.

Divesoft Freedom uses the most proven Buhlmann ZHL-16 algorithm, which we can find e.g. in the well-known VR3, Heinrichs/Weikamp – OSTC MK2, NHeO3 and many other recognised dive computers.

Divesoft Freedom computers are also available on the Polish market without any problems. The representative of the company in our country is the Centre for Unusual Diving “Krokodyle” from Olsztyn. The purchase can be made in their online shop or directly at the centre. For those who would like to get to know the computer better and feel its power, the Advanced Nitrox version is available for testing.
