This Saturday, on 8 January 2012, Jurek Owsiak’s Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy) will hold its 20th finale. Throughout the country, people from different backgrounds generously support this initiative every year, overtaking each other in coming up with original ways to collect money.

The diving community does not remain indifferent, and since it is famous for its rich imagination and unconventional ideas, we never know what it will surprise us with. The Centre for Unusual Diving – Crocodiles from Olsztyn, decided to organize on Saturday, January 7, the day before the final, charity dives in… authentic diving helmets!

The divers will have 2 helmets at their disposal. Prof. Roman Wojtusiak’s open helmet from 1937 and the newest child of the Kirby Morgan brand, used for underwater work. The dives will take place in the pool of the Star Dadaj hotel.
