Everyone interested in the activities of the Polish branch of Ghost Diving is welcome, especially children and teenagers. The organizers have filled the last weekend of January at the Gdynia Aquarium with workshops and lectures. Topics will, of course, be related to the group’s activities and the aquatic environment.

This is not the first time we will be visited by people who are passionate about diving and helping the marine environment. It is thanks to Ghost Diving Poland that you can enjoy on the third floor of our exhibition an exhibition on ghost networks we read on the Aquarium’s website.

The organizers have planned a ton of activities and it will be a great way to spend time pleasantly and usefully. It is also certainly a great opportunity to learn more about the group’s activities, but also to expand your knowledge.

If you’re still hesitant to visit us on January 28-29 at the Gdynia Aquarium, look at those happy faces on…

Workshops with Ghost Diving Poland will be held continuously on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You will find them on the first floor of the Aquarium building in the education wing – the All-Acean Room. There is no need to book seats in advance, just purchase a regular pass to the Gdynia Aquarium.

In addition to workshops and lectures, you will be able to experience diving and mining ghost nets in VR technology or see what is created from the processed nets.

More information about the event can be found at Ghost Diving Poland and Gdynia Aquarium.

Exploring the underwater world undoubtedly brings a lot of excitement, but also dangers. You can read about what can be found at the bottom of Polish bodies of water in the article written by Pawel Zolnia, which we published in the 20th issue of our DIVERS24 quarterly! The digital version of the magazine is available free of charge, while you can purchase the printed version in our online store.
