We are, of course, talking about the “Let’s clean up Lake Dominickie” action. The first meeting, mainly of volunteer divers, initiating this event, took place in 2009. Those who like maths will discover that this year it will already be the 8th edition.

All these years hundreds of people have taken part in the clean-up and barbecue fun. This year we have ordered good weather and are embracing the organisation of this significant event. New applications keep coming in and the actions are supported by well-known, often the same people and companies.

The action Clean Lake Dominieckie was initiated by inviting divers to use their passion for a good common purpose. Each year, dozens of enthusiasts of underwater adventure with curiosity and joy participate in our meeting.

First, right after the registration, we enter the water according to the coordinator’s instructions so that the whole body of water is covered. Some people will enter from the shore, and some will be brought by boat. Later, after intensive and safe work, we return to the base of the action, throw trash into previously prepared containers, change clothes and get ready to feast and have fun together.

On behalf of the organisers, I would like to invite you to join forces to clean up after our irresponsible messengers, of whom there is still no shortage. I would like to add that in March I made a reconnaissance walk around the entire Dominica Lake and unfortunately there is a whole heap of rubbish.
