There were various situations with fish in the waters of the Ińsko Fishing Centre during our annual underwater fishing competition. I remember the years when it was difficult to find a single large pike. Last year’s competition, whose new, two-day formula worked well for the first time in Poland, abounded in hunting trophies like never before.

All the voices and whispers suggesting that it’s high time to say goodbye to the scenery of the Ińsko Landscape Park and look for another, more fishy place fell silent. Almost everyone said they would be happy to come again next year. After a successful debut of the two-day competition formula, we decided to seriously continue this way of holding the tournament for the cup of the President of Spearfishing Poland Association, which this year will be held for the sixth time.

We would like to invite you to the Water Valley Centre in Przytoń near Węgorzyno on 11 September. In the immediate vicinity, we have three lakes available for underwater fishing. These are the lakes: Ińsko, Woświn and Krzemień. Traditionally, the choice of lakes, which will be the arena for sports competitions, will be determined by water transparency, safety conditions and, most importantly, the number and activity of fish.

As in previous years, we invite you to the competition website www.insko.sspoland.pl where everyone can register their participation by filling in the registration form, check the list of competitors, get to know the organiser’s team and the history of our tournament. As in previous years, we anticipate a limit of players, so I encourage all willing to register quickly. The final start list is determined by the order of applications confirmed by payment of the entry fee by 31 August 2014.

21:00 – Underwater Hunter Card Course (info on the course at 696 414 818)

Friday – 12.09.2014.

09:30 – 10:00 – Opening of the first day of the competition – organizational meeting
10:00 – 10:30 – Arrival at the starting area
10:30 am – 11:00 am – Preparing for the start
11:00 – 16:00 – The first day of the competition – 5h
17:00 – 19:00 – Dinner at the resort
19:00 – 20:00 – Weighing of the fish from the first day of the competition
