Triton Dive Center and the Mare Foundation have joined forces and will jointly conduct a diving cleanup of the Baltic Sea on September 17, 2022.

The activities of the Triton Diving Center and the Mare Foundation are part of the worldwide World Cleanup Day initiative. As part of the event, divers will clean up the bottom of the Baltic Sea near the pier in Brzeźno. In turn, other volunteers will carry out a cleaning action on land, so as to comprehensively address the problem of lingering garbage.

The upcoming action is another such event prepared by the Tryton Diving Center from Gdansk and the Mare Foundation. Also in past years, both entities have organized similar actions.

In addition to achieving the main goal of litter removal, the event is a great opportunity to integrate the local diving and aquatic community. In addition, it has great educational value, which will certainly result in the future in a more conscious approach to the subject of littering on beaches, the sea and the environment in general.

Therefore, if you think that the activities of Triton and the Mare Foundation make sense and deserve support, then join the action! Together with other water and diving enthusiasts you can do something good and have a nice time.

The gathering of divers who will participate in the cleanup is scheduled by the organizers at 12:00 p.m. The parking lot next to the Peperino restaurant has been chosen as the meeting place, from where the participants will be taken by a prepared transport.

Although participation in the event is completely free, be sure to register in advance. This will help the organizers to efficiently prepare and manage the entire event. Registrations willing to participate can be made via a form on Triton Diving Center homepage.

There you will also find all the necessary information on the cleanup action in the city of Brest. In addition, up-to-date information on the event will appear on the official website.
