Recruitment is still ongoing for this year’s Diving Tournament, which will take place on 14-15 October. The organisers invite all willing to apply. Of course, as is the case with the Diving Tournament, valuable prizes await the winners and participants.

In previous years there were rules governing who could and could not take part in the event. This year, the recruitment is open to all willing divers, no matter which diving centre they are affiliated with or which diving rank they hold. What counts is having fun!

Anyone wishing to take part in the Diving Tournament can register using the special registration form. Please note that the number of places is limited!

The competition is scheduled for a maximum of 30 participants. So hurry up and don’t think too long as this is a nationwide event.

The Diving Tournament is an event where competitions are held both in water and on land. It consists of a number of tasks in which you need to demonstrate cleverness, strength and diving skills.

Competitions are appropriately scored to give everyone a chance, regardless of physical conditions or gender.

The organisers have prepared a bonus point system. Depending on the experience and number of dives, each participant will receive an appropriate number of points at the start so as to equalise the competition.

The plan for this year’s Diving Tournament:

Day I – Saturday 14 October

9:00 Registration, assigning starting numbers, organizational matters. (distribution of plan and map of competition)

10:30 Start of competition

– Submarine navigation – straight line “there and back”
– Triangle underwater navigation
– Weight transfer using buoyancy bags over a distance of 3m under water
– Filling plastic

Parallel competition on land

– Diving boot throw over a distance
– Cylinder roll over 20 m on a set track
– 100 m fin run
– Roman-style compressor hurdles on time

14:30 Break Обиадова

16:00 ABC swimming race

Evening event – announcement of results. Those with the best scores move on to the second round.

Day II – Sunday 15 October

10:00 Long-distance navigation competition (average swim time about 20 min – competitors start every 3 min) You will receive a map and a marker holder. You have to collect the markers on time while swimming along the designated track. The person who collects the most markers in the shortest time wins.

12:30 Ceremonial decoration of the winners

We have very attractive prizes for the first three places! A bag and plate set by TechLine, a very attractive prize from Scubapro, ABC sets, SANTI AfterDive Collection and many others.

The number of prizes is growing and it certainly won’t end here. We will keep you updated on what new prizes the best ones will receive.

No matter what kind of diver you are, a beginner just out of training or an advanced diver, what counts is having fun through competition in which you can gain new experiences and prizes!
