The adapted construction will result in a pool that is more than 11 metres deep. If all goes well, divers from the southern part of the country will have another attraction under their noses, which will provide a training ground for many adept divers.

“In the WRJ area we found a pool with a depth of 11.5 metres. It would be a shame for such a facility to go to waste, all the more so because if we manage to get it up and running, it will benefit the people as well as the town itself, which will be clearly marked on the diving map of Poland,” Bruno Janus stresses, adding that they had to lease the land on which the pool is located. – “We therefore hope that the facility will be able to support itself,” he adds.

An additional attraction of this place is to be a staircase, thanks to which it will be possible to train elements of wreck diving or cave diving. To be honest, we don’t have much in the way of opportunities in this area of the country.

“It will be useful as initial training for anyone going on a cave diving course in France” – Bruno Janus emphasises.

The pool is to be available mainly to certified divers, but not only. Lifeguards, mine divers, divers of the Fire Brigade and other uniformed services will also be able to train here.

If no unforeseen difficulties arise, the pool is expected to be ready for the first divers as early as October!
