The plot of the film revolves around a sunken US Navy submarine that is damaged in an attack and sinks to the bottom. The military decides to organise a rescue expedition, but the lack of appropriate equipment stands in the way. Consequently, civilian employees of one of the research stations join the mission. However, they do not expect what may be waiting for them underwater…

Despite its age (1989), the film still evokes a lot of emotions and is considered a real gem among diving items. Below is the trailer:
