I recently came across a website for an interesting product called the ‘underwater wing’. Looking at the videos presenting this device, I have the impression that it is some kind of combination between water skiing and snoorkling.

The creator of the ‘wing’ is Simon Stevens, who came up with Subwing in 2010. He and his team spent the following years perfecting his invention and giving it the right shapes and designs.

It all started with a family holiday in the Mediterranean Sea. It was there that the idea was born and the first attempts to put it into practice were made. The results were so fruitful that Simon decided to take a year off from university and work on perfecting his creation.

During this time, he tested new solutions, looked for more, and tested different materials from which he could make the Subwing. In the end, he managed to get satisfactory results. You can see them in the video below.
