I don’t know what to write… It’s wonderful, the people are very nice, every local is very welcoming and smiling.
I am surrounded by beautiful landscapes, green everywhere. The rice fields are wonderful! The volcano and the sun that sets behind it every day… Beaches and open-air beach bonfires with TYLOOOOMA stars….
And underwater it’s simply fabulous! The island is surrounded by coral reefs. So many colours, fish, creatures… it’s just a shame that the reefs, just like in Thailand, are not respected by everyone and unfortunately you can see the changes and a lot of them are dying.
But fish are plentiful, from whale sharks (and this was on my first day there) to turtles, which I also snoorkel with, to seahorses, prawns and nudibranch snails. It’s beautiful above and below the water.”

From the editors:
Bali is a fairly large Indonesian island. It belongs to the Small Sunda Islands archipelago and lies between Java and Lombok Island. The climate is humid equatorial.
The high volcanic mountain range (the highest peak, Agung, reaches 3142 metres above sea level) gives rise to rivers which supply fresh water. Thanks to these rivers, the island is very fertile, and apart from the natural tropical forests which cover the land luxuriantly, the local people successfully cultivate coffee and cocoa, the aforementioned rice, vanilla, clove, as well as coconut palms and other fruit trees.
Bali is still known for its distinctive folklore and architecture, sculpture and painting, as well as music and dance. The majority of the population is Hindu (83.5%) and the population is over 4 million (2014). The dry season falls during the months of August and September.
