Search continues for frogman in Gulf of Gdansk

A search has been underway in the Gulf of Gdansk since this morning for a diver who went missing while returning from a dive on a popular torpedo boat.

At around 10:30 a.m., emergency services received a call to assist a group of divers. After relaying the details, it turned out that one of the dive participants had gone missing while returning from the torpedo shop.

According to the account of the other dive participant, he and his partner were separated by the waves when they were already on the surface of the water. As of this moment, the search for the missing man is underway in the vicinity of Babi Doły. A rescue helicopter is also taking part in the operation in the Gulf of Gdansk, combing the surface of the water.

The missing man is also being searched for by the SAR rescue unit from Hel and four firefighting units, including a specialized water and diving group from Gdansk.
