The world’s first smart watch-style dive computer from Human Facto DivingTM now available in a promotional kit! Only until the end of September 3450 PLN! Every diver and every dive is unique. Therefore, a personal dive computer should be just that – personal, not an instrument that always keeps the same baseline measurements, whether it is used by a 25 year old dive instructor or a 55 year old novice diver.
Human Facto DivingTM is the result of an exclusive approach by Scubapro engineers, focusing on the interaction between the product and the user. The combination of biometrics and the latest technology has enabled the creation of high-tech sports products. These products must be compact, easy to use and, most importantly, provide real-time data on how the body is functioning, both on the surface and in the depths, while diving and in life.
As a dive watch and computer, the Mantis2 stands out not only for its attractive design, but also for its intuitive menus. It is the most user-friendly dive computer on the market. On top of that, it is unique in its kind because it has the ability to use physiological data. This allows you to take full advantage of your physical capabilities. It gives advance notice of fatigue and potential problems before they become critical. In other words, it conducts a kind of self-control, reduces the risk of injury and increases safety.
A stylish, versatile instrument both above and below the water. On the surface, the Mantis 2 functions as a versatile watch and a useful instrument for sports activities and training. It can act as an altimeter and thermometer. It has a chronometer, with interval memory, and can be used during runs, with the option of pulse monitoring, or in swim mode to record time (chronometer), number of strokes and distance covered.
In dive mode, the Mantis 2 can be programmed for three Nitrox mixes from 21-100% oxygen and a fixed ppO2 for CCR rebreather closed circuit diving. It can operate in four underwater modes: Scuba, Gauge, Apnoe, CCR. With the optional heart rate strap it can monitor your heart rate during a dive – a feature only available from Scubapro.
Using the Scubapro sensor (strap), the Mantis 2 computer can also measure skin temperature and factor it into the decompression algorithm; dives are safer and more efficient. To analyse post-dive data, the Mantis 2 has LogTRAK software for PC and Mac, as well as the LogTRAK app for Android.
Based on individual physiological data, the computer allows you to make the right decisions; diving is safer, you can increase your diving skills and enjoy your underwater adventure for longer.
Mantis 2 functions
Adaptive algorithm
All dive computer algorithms take into account depth, type of gas mixture and bottom time in decompression calculations. The SCUBAPRO ZLH-8 ADT MB PMG algorithm is the only dive computer algorithm to include breathing rate, heart rate, diver’s skin temperature as additional stress factors in its calculations and adjusts the decompression schedule accordingly, eliminating risk factors.
Micro-bubble level setting
This function allows the algorithm to be individually adjusted depending on the diver’s experience, age and physical endurance. Selecting the microbubble level in the L0-L5 range enables you to absorb less nitrogen or desaturate faster.
Heart rate sensors
Visual heart rate monitoring makes it easier to assess the diver’s load in real time and respond more quickly to stress or overload. At the same time, the dive computer incorporates this data into the decompression algorithm, increasing dive safety. In less critical moments, heart rate monitoring can allow aerobic exercise to take place, increasing enthusiasm for diving.
Skin temperature monitoring
This patented feature incorporates another factor of physiology into the exercise algorithm. Extreme cold can have a serious effect on nitrogen saturation. Therefore, the additional information used in the decompression update increases dive safety.
PDiS (Profile dependent deep stops)
Stop calculations are carried out on the basis of nitrogen saturation during the current and previous dives, taking into account the breathing mixture.
Limb movement counter
A valuable aid to running and swimming training. The stroke counter also allows you to calculate the distance covered.
Calorie consumption
Calorie consumption can be calculated from heart rate and effort data. In today’s body-conscious society, it is hard to find someone who is not interested in how many calories they have consumed while diving.
