Retronurks in Olsztyn with CNN Crocodiles

The retronurk event on Hel, which we announced some time ago, is behind us. All those who didn’t have the opportunity to take part in it, will have another chance to dive in oldschool equipment. All thanks to the event which is planned on September 7 by the Centre for Unusual Diving Crocodiles from Olsztyn.

Anyone who has had the opportunity to visit the “Crocodile” team at their dive centre has certainly noticed the walls decorated with lots of diving gear from decades gone by. It turns out that the retro-equipment is over-serviced and still functional, and available!

During these events, every diving enthusiast has the unique opportunity to feel first-hand what diving was like in its early, non-commercial stages, before comfort, convenience and minimising the weight of equipment began to play an important role.

An additional attraction announced by the organisers will be the possibility of an underwater walk in a replica of the famous Wojtusiak diving helmet, as well as in modern professional diving equipment, including the legendary Kirby Morgan helmet!

A friendly atmosphere and good fun are guaranteed, so bring your loved ones along on 7 September to spend a pleasant day together over a barbecue and shisha – a regular feature of the “crocodile” events.
