On the social media profile of the MARE Foundation, a video teaser of a documentary film shot on the most interesting wreck of the Gulf of Gdansk – “Franken” – has appeared. The film is the result of joining forces and establishing cooperation between the foundation and the Maritime Institute in Gdansk, and its premiere has been announced for 3 July 2018!

The announcement shows that the filmmakers have focused on documenting the “Franken” in terms of the threat it poses to the environment. Let us remind that this is the wreck of a German tanker, which was sunk by Soviet planes at the very end of World War II, on April 8, 1945.
