It is a well-known fact that travelling educates. This time, however, it is not the travellers who can learn something new, but their hosts. Part of the DIVERS24 team is just returning from diving in the Ojamo mine, where we came in the company of Michał Czerminski.

On the way back home, in addition to diving, Michał, invited by Finnish divers, will give a talk on the flooded Polish mine Kowary. The whole event has been organised as part of the 55th anniversary edition of Divers Club Night. To facilitate communication issues, the mine presentation will be conducted in English.

During the meeting, Michał Czermiński will give the Finnish divers an overview of the mine and its history, and will reveal the specifics and secrets of diving at this site. There will also be time for casual conversations and asking about all the interesting issues.

The Kowary mine is located in Lower Silesia. In the past uranium was mined here, but today its face is typically diving and it is one of the most interesting locations for overhead diving in Poland.

Over the past few years, a great deal of work has been done in the flooded tunnels. Thanks to this, today Polish divers have a cave diving site with a very diverse level of difficulty.
