Plura Cave and the people who organise dives in it need your help in showing the real face of this place.

It has emerged that there are many videos on YouTube which distort the image of what the Plura cave really is. That is why people who organise dives in it are asking for help to change this unfavourable situation.

We have just discovered that YouTube is full of misleading videos about the Plura cave. The tone of most of them is that Plura is the cave of death or the most dangerous cave in the world. Inna begins her post.

In 2014, a fatal accident occurred in a cave, about which a famous film was made Diving Into The Unknown. However, building a narrative about the world’s most dangerous cave on the basis of a single incident is quite an exaggeration.

The authors of the videos have never even been to Plur. They just take bits and pieces of videos about the 2014 accident (8 years ago!) and add their own assumptions. concludes Inna in her post.

Win a weekend in the Plura cave

In view of the situation, the owners of the dive centre are counting on your help! Among those who help in spreading the true face of the cave, a valuable prize will be drawn… A free diving weekend in the Plura cave!

Upload a YouTube video of your visit to Plura and you might be the one to win a free diving weekend in Plura Cave!

The prize includes a stay worth €800 – 3 nights, accommodation, gas, cylinder hire, food and a unique Plura Merch. To enter the prize draw, please post a link to your video here. Be sure to add the tags #plura #pluracave #pluravalley to your video and submit by May 31, 2022. The winner will be announced on 1 June.

If the competition is very popular and more than 20 people take part, there will also be more prizes. Because in this case the organisers have provided two free diving weekends.

Winners will be announced in the group Plura Divers.
