The Professional Association of Diving Instructors – PADI has announced that this year’s edition of PADI Women’s Dive Day will be held on Saturday 18 July. It will be the fifth edition of this periodic event, which every year gathers more and more participants and has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of diving events around the world.

PADI Women’s Dive Day is a great initiative bringing together people around the world who are passionate about diving. If you have not had the opportunity to participate in it in previous years, you must make up for it this year!

The event is intended to show that diving is a sport for everyone. Created by great people in every latitude. Visiting following diving sites and making an appointment to dive, we can meet a lot of new friends. Great people, with whom we will be able to experience many underwater adventures and visit many unusual places together.

PADI stresses on its official website that diving is also a great story, which of course does not lack … women! Although our beloved sport may be associated mainly as a male passion, no one can deny the enormous contribution of women to the development of this discipline.

If you run a dive centre, base or any dive business and are affiliated to PADI, you can register and apply to be part of the celebrations at any time. The easiest way to do this is to visit homepage events. It also allows people who want to participate to search for events taking place near them.
