The largest dive training and certification organisation, has launched a new app, the PADI Adventures App, which aims to stimulate the diving industry, following the collapse caused by the pandemic. It aims to encourage millions of occasional divers around the world to dive more often, and in doing so support local dive businesses that have remained closed until recently.

The PADI app will enable people to conveniently find, and more importantly, digitally book dives at PADI affiliated centres and resorts. This includes sites available locally, in our immediate area, as well as those scattered around the world. The software is available for mobile devices with Android and IOS based systems.

“Difficult times have come, but they are also times when we prepare for the future so that we can become stronger than ever before. PADI is helping our members take advantage of this period to build a foundation for a more stable future. PADI Adventures is one solution designed to attract new divers and encourage current divers to dive regularly,” said Drew Richardson, president and CEO of PADI Worldwide.

Thanks to the application, we will be able to search not only for dive sites, bases and centres available in the area, but also for training, courses and other activities, such as snoorklowanie for the whole family. The software is also intended to reduce the time we spend searching for the aforementioned. The application, using push notifications, will itself inform us about what diving is happening in the area.

The application can be downloaded from Google Play i App Store.
