On 24.06.2020, the Olympus brand announced on its official website that it has signed an agreement with Japan Industrial Partners to transfer the Olympus Imaging business (cameras and sound recorders) to the new company. The parties have scheduled the signing of the final sale agreement for 30 September 2020.

Discussions are still ongoing regarding the transfer of our business to Japan Industrial Partners. During this time our customers should have no reason to worry as the sales, marketing and, above all, service departments will be working in the same mode. All activities related to the launch of new products will also be carried out as planned ,” explains Jacek Jamiołkowski, Sales and Marketing Director Olympus Polska.
The Olympus brand is not only known for its cameras and sound recorders. The company is also a leading manufacturer of medical endoscopes and a provider of system solutions for scientific research and clinical applications.
