Full-face mask manufacturer for diving and snoorking, the Ocean Reef brand, has announced the introduction of a special adapter to turn their product into an effective tool to protect against COVID-19 virus infection. The modification was announced in an official statement sent out through the company’s communication channels.

By developing an adapter that fits standard Ocean Reef masks, additional protection against coronavirus will be obtained. The manufacturer has already announced that the price of the mask modification kit will be very low to allow all mask owners to make this inexpensive upgrade.

The adapter fits any mask manufactured by Ocean Reef. The filter can be of any type and brand, with a 40mm thread, and to reduce exhaust effort, simply push out the mask exhaust valve cover.

According to sales figures, Ocean Reef masks are already owned by over 1.25 million customers worldwide. In addition, considerable stocks are held by their representatives worldwide and in warehouses located in the USA and Italy.

The adapter is compatible with Aria QR +, Aria Classic, Aria Una, Aria Jnr, Original Aria, Head SeaVuDry and Sport and Tusa Sport models.

In addition, the project is ready to be modified to become compatible with products from other brands that produce full-face masks for snoorking, such as Easybreath, Aqua Lung and many others. In this way, the creators at Ocean Reef want to increase the number of transformable products to over 2 million.

The first 3D printed prototypes have been tested over the past three weeks and full industrial production is expected to begin on 31 March. Initial production will be 1,000 units per day.
