Poland’s leading freediver Magdalena Solich-Talanda set a new Polish record in DNF (Dynamic Apnea Without Fins) competition! She was the first athlete in the world to reach the 200 meter mark! Her result cannot be considered a new World Record, only for procedural reasons, as the competition was conducted entirely by Polish judges.

Interestingly, the current World Record and the freshly beaten Polish Record in the DNF competition – 191m, also belongs to Magdalena Solich-Talanda, and she set it less than a year ago, during the 14th Polish Freediving Pool Championships held in July 2017. Magdalena, with her result today, became the first woman in the world to reach 200 metres in the DNF competition!

Mazovia MiniComp 2018Mazovia MiniComp 2018 is a mini swimming competition included in the official calendar of AIDA International events. The arena of struggle is the swimming pool of the Integracyjne Centrum Dydaktyczno Sportowego in Łomianki near Warsaw.

The number of places in the competition is limited to 26, and the results of people associated in Freediving Association of Polandwill be included in the official AIDA ranking.

During the competition, the struggle is conducted in three competitions:

DNF – dynamic swimming without fins
DYN – dynamic swimming with fins
STA – static breath holding.

The next competition organised by the Freediving Poland Association is scheduled for Saturday 12 May 2018 and these will be Jaworzno MiniComp 2018which will be held at the Olympic swimming pool Via Sport.
