Manufacturer recalls Xdeep NX700 regulators from the market

Due to a possible defect, the manufacturer has announced an immediate recall of the Xdeep NX700 first-stage regulators.

Through its info channels, the Xdeep brand released statment explaining the whole situation. As it turns out, the recall of the first stage of the NX700 regulator was necessary due to the potential danger to its users.

We have received information about one case of first-stage head bolt failure. Upon receiving the information, we immediately attempted to reconstruct the failure in order to analyze the causes, but were unsuccessful. We assume that the bolt may have been damaged due to impact as a result of the fall of the cylinder or prolonged exposure to stresses for which it was not intended – reads the official announcement.

Although the report of the defect concerns only one unit, the consequences of such a failure can be serious. Therefore, the manufacturer recommended that under no circumstances should the NX700 regulators be used.

What should you do if you own an Xdeep NX700?

If you own an Xdeep NX700 regulator, first of all, immediately stop using it. Then contact the dealer from whom you bought the automat or the Xdeep brand directly support@xdeep.pl.

The NX700 regulator was released in 2019 after months of rigorous testing under extreme conditions. Due to restrictions during the pandemic and the increase in production costs, a relatively small number of NX700 regulators hit the market. Therefore, we believe that a recall is the most effective solution in the current situation.

Xdeep offered NX700 owners one of the following two options:

Replacing the first stage of the NX700 with a CX100 model. The two models differ in that the latter does not have a rotating head. The customer will also receive a voucher worth 450 PLN for the purchase of any XDEEP products in the future.

Return the product through the dealer and refund the amount of the purchase. In this case, you need to contact the dealer where you purchased the regulator to start the whole process.
