This is the answer to the expectations of many divers, both technical, using computers switched to gauge mode, as well as recreational based on the indications of digital or dive computer, who are looking for a very clear and transparent measuring device, and are not yet interested in investing in high class OLED computer.

Liquivision Xen, is used to measure bottom time, offering us all the necessary functions we will need. It is very simple to use, intuitive and, above all, easy to read. We can forget about illuminating the computer indications with the light of a torch, the large display made in OLEDIn terms of readability and clarity, it is something that no other product available on the market can match. As assured by the manufacturer, the fonts and their size have been selected on the basis of consultations with doctors, so that they are best suited to the human eye, in addition we can also personalize the colours of the values given by the XEN.

The display, made of scratch-resistant mineral glass, is enclosed in a modest, minimalist package, at an angle that makes it easy to use. The menu is intuitive and very clear, accessible via the touchscreen, which is equally easy to use with the bare hand or with gloves on.

The data we can find on the display are: maximum and current depth and average depth (which can be reset at any time), dive time (in minutes and seconds), temperature, stopwatch and clock. The device will store 3500h of our dive profiles when sampling every 60s and 60h when sampling seconds. All the data can be downloaded via an interface to our PC or MacBook. Another advantage is that you can change the battery yourself.

To sum up, Liquivision Xen is another successful and very interesting product of this brand and only relatively high price ($499) in relation to digital may discourage you. However, if we compare it with prices of dive computers (many of which have never worked in other than gauge mode), we get an alternative worth considering.
