Yes, this is the fourth time we will meet in a group of women to actively spend time, learn the elements of freediving and discover the secrets of the diving reflex hidden in each of us.

As every year, the rally will be held in Giewartów on the Powidzkie Lake, this time on 15-16 June 2013. We would like to invite girls who are completely new to freediving, as well as those already more experienced, to take part. The more of us the better! You know…

This year we are putting things in your hands – some of the classes will be led by Mermaids who took their first steps in freediving at the Freediver Rally.

A part of dry and wet classes as well as Sunday’s ‘freediver yoga’ will be conducted by world vice-champion in dynamic diving Emilka Biała – the only Polish woman who has managed to cover the distance of over 200m on one breath! Emilka the Mermaid, born on the 1st Freediver Rally, current Polish record holder in all pool disciplines, will show you the basic elements of breath-hold diving. If you want to learn, learn from the best!

The art of relaxation, body awareness in water and the release of fears, traumas and anxieties will be mastered by Kasia Jedryka – a participant of the 2nd Freedivers Rally, currently a physiotherapist specialising in rehabilitation in water. Kasia, using elements of WATSU, will show you how to work with your body in water, so that holding your breath is pleasant and has a soothing effect on the tensions arising in your body.

Agnieszka Kalska – participant of the 3rd Freediver Rally, Polish representative at the upcoming freediving world championships in Belgrade, multiple medalist of the Polish championships and a member of the junior national swimming team – will teach you how to handle the mermaid tail. This girl knows how to move effectively in water! During this year’s meeting she will give a lecture and conduct exercises on swimming techniques in a mono fin.

This is not the end of the attractions. In order to develop your water skills and work on your head a bit, we’ve invited freediver Aleksandra Stępień – an observer of the III Freediver Rally and an ardent freediver enthusiast, a potential future Mermaid! Ola will use her knowledge and experience to lead a coaching workshop about how dreams don’t come true. That dreams do come true!

And one more surprise! Your safety in the water will be taken care of by a special Spec Group – experienced freedivers, trained by Bluego, ready to meet the extremely high demands of Freedivers.

We would like to invite everyone who wants to spend a nice and friendly weekend in the company of Freedivers to Giewartów. Girls – feel free to bring your family, friends or loved ones. Your pets are also welcome, if you can’t leave them at home.

The rally will be held on 15-16 June 2013, in Giewartów, on the premises of the holiday resort “Pałacyk” in the NEMO diving base.
