In the world of scuba diving, the pursuit of innovation and excellence is a continuous venture. Halcyon has embarked on a strategic course that promises to elevate the brand’s presence and impact globally. At the steer of this initiative is Agnieszka Hrynkiewicz, an adept leader whose mission is to streamline operations and fortify Halcyon’s reach in the European market.

What’s the role of the Polish warehouse in Gdansk?

Halcyon had long struggled to find the right business partner to deliver top-notch service to European dealers and customers. While Reel Diving has efficiently managed the Scandinavian, UK, and Polish markets since 2018, a significant segment of the European market was yet to be optimally served. Previously relying on a French distribution company, Halcyon sought a more effective solution to ensure high service standards.

In a strategic move, Halcyon established its direct representation in Europe and found the perfect opportunity with Agnieszka Hrynkiewicz. With 12 years of experience working with Santi Diving, Agnieszka accepted the role of Global Brand Manager. Her task? To create a robust distribution base for Halcyon. The decision to set up a distribution center in Gdańsk, Poland, was driven by logistical advantages, favorable infrastructure, and proximity to Agnieszka’s residence in Gdynia.

This new hub, Halcyon Europe, caters to European countries not covered by Reel Diving. It ensures professional and rapid customer service and top-tier marketing support. Today, Halcyon’s offerings span continents, supported by strong distributors and three branches in the USA, Poland, and Australia.

Pooling Resources with Fourth Element

Halcyon’s new distribution center in Poland was established in collaboration with Fourth Element, another brand seeking to enhance its logistical framework. By joining forces, the two companies effectively reduced operational costs by sharing warehouse space and staffing expenses. Their successful partnership culminated in late 2023, marking the beginning of a new era in efficient distribution.

The center’s capacity extends beyond the Halcyon and Fourth Element. From August 2024, it will also provide distribution services for Italy’s K01, covering multiple European countries like Germany, France, and Belgium. The partnership aims to foster further collaboration and growth, offering clients the advantage of engaging with a combined portfolio of both brands.

Customers benefit from direct service and streamlined operations, with increased accessibility to representatives who offer both Halcyon and Fourth Element products in regions where organizational structures permit, such as Germany, Portugal, and Italy.

New Innovations from Halcyon

Halcyon is gearing up to unveil new products and a broad marketing and sales strategy. The fruits of their labor will be showcased at upcoming trade shows and scuba events.

At January’s Boot show, Halcyon presented prototypes of several innovations, including fins, the Symbios system (comprising a computer, transmitter, and rebreather), and surprises concerning core product lines like wings and lights.

The year ahead is set to be exciting for Halcyon, promising a series of innovations that will capture the attention of both loyal and new customers. The commitment to enhancing the underwater experience underscores Halcyon’s dedication to the global scuba community, where each day is a learning opportunity.

Conclusion

Halcyon’s strategic advancements, spearheaded by Agnieszka Hrynkiewicz, signal a transformative period for the brand. From establishing a stronghold in Europe to expanding partnerships and developing new products, together with a new marketing strategy and a refreshed logo. Halcyon’s is set to redefine the scuba market worldwide.
