For diving enthusiasts of the legendary G-Shock series of watches, their manufacturer – Casio, has prepared a little surprise. The latest model is equipped with a depth sensor, so you can take it underwater, where it will be able to work in gauge mode, well known from other measuring devices.

The new functionality is intended to complement a set of measurements such as atmospheric pressure, temperature and an electronic compass, making the Gulfmaster GWN-Q1000 model a device dedicated to people who spend a lot of time not only on the water, but also under its surface. The depth gauge functions in the 0-50 metre range, and its accuracy is 10 cm!

The combination of the various sensors and indications is intended to make this model an ideal support for water sports enthusiasts. The creators hope that where the human eye reacts imprecisely and too late, the new G-shock will allow a quicker recognition of the situation, such as the approaching sudden change in weather. With the Gulfmaster GWN-Q1000 you can also check the phase of the tide on any given day, and after entering your geographical location, it will inform you of the time of sunrise and sunset.

In addition, the watch has a waterproof class that allows it to be safely submerged to a depth of 200 metres. The case has been made of carbon fibre, with specially enhanced durability. The system of buttons to operate the watch is made of extremely resistant metals, also paying special attention to maintaining the tightness. The sapphire crystal is coated with a special coating that reduces light reflections to a minimum.

It comes with a strap made of very soft and flexible urethane, so as to ensure the utmost comfort. The watch is equipped with a solar cell, so you don’t have to worry about changing batteries.
