Last August, we reported on the exploration of a very interesting and unique place. It was then that footage appeared online recorded by a group of Polish technical divers, who decided to explore a little-known site – an old uranium ore mine in Kowary.

Underwater conditions are challenging and can only be tackled by people with the right training and a lot of experience in cave diving.

A labyrinth of corridors, successive levels and practically no plans, combined with obstacles encountered on the way make every metre of the best guarded mine of the People’s Republic of Poland a precious trophy.

So far, the divers exploring the mine have managed to descend to 70m. In addition, with the help of a reel and camera, they have reached a depth of 200m. Although this depth is impressive, it is less than 2/5 of what separates the exploration group from the bottom.
