This new line of wetsuits is ideal for people who are allergic to neoprene. It can be used to completely replace a traditional wetsuit, or to create a barrier between the skin and the suit. The manufacturer claims that Thermocline may not immediately solve the problem, but the wetsuits have been used with great success by allergy sufferers.
This new generation of products is available in a range of lightweight and versatile garments, starting with a traditional one-piece, followed by a long-sleeved blouse and leggings, shorts and a waistcoat, a hooded waistcoat and two different swimsuits. Accessories also include two different hoodies, one with a collar the other without, and long and short socks.
[blockquote style=”2″]”We are excited about the arrival of the new iteration of the Thermocline because we have been able to develop and combine previous solutions with a material that is environmentally friendly. It’s great to be able to combine recycled materials with already tested technology and reduce our adverse impact on the planet.”[/blockquote]
A huge advantage of Fourth Element products is that they are lightweight and take up minimal space in your luggage. Thermocline is a fully durable, breathable fabric that is also super stretchy and provides the thermal comfort of a 2.5mm thick neoprene wetsuit with neutral buoyancy.
The recycling of ghost nets mined in huge numbers around the world is a very timely topic. In recent years, we have written, for example, about a well-known sports equipment and clothing manufacturer who has created prototype i a limited series of 7000 pairs of shoesmade entirely from recycled nets. Let’s hope that these examples, which we can count on the fingers of one hand today, will pave the way and set standards and directions for the general public.
Fourth Element’s efforts are in line with their goal of Mission 2020, by which time the company plans to have completely eliminated plastic from the manufacturing process, including all packaging used, and replaced it with recycled materials.
