There is one and a half weeks left to the film event in Ruda Śląska. The organisers extended the deadline for submitting films for the competition, and waited until 15 January, midnight. As I found out, about 30 such mini productions were submitted. There will be something to watch and admire.

We hope that the level will be high, which will translate into easier promotion of diving and travelling among the non-diving part of the society. Nowadays we watch a lot and read little.

During these 3 festival days, which will begin with an exhibition of underwater photos by Irena Stangierska entitled “Colours of Silence”, we will have plenty to do. “Colours of Silence”, we will have something to do. The Aquadrome water park invites you on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. (an earlier reservation is required at Bartek’s – bartek.oczkiewicz@op.pl).

We meet at the Municipal Cultural Centre at 16:00 to attend lectures on the films and meetings with people connected with the depicted images. It promises to be very interesting.

From 22:00 we move to PUB DRUID, where a shanty music concert “Trzecia Miłość” will help us to integrate. I wonder for whom the third, and for whom the first ???? Sunday morning can be used for underwater penetration of the nearby “Diggers”.

From 2pm we are already at the Municipal Cultural Centre. Here films will be waiting for us in large doses. Apart from the presentations planned and described in the programme, from 3 p.m. selected competition films will be shown. At the end we will see two more films, announce the winners of the competition and go to our homes. You are cordially invited!
