Today, the future of the site where one of the most famous diving bases in Poland is located was decided by auction. We are of course talking about the popular “Koparki” near Jaworzno, where Mirosław Kierepka has been running his business for almost 15 years.

There has been a lot of commotion recently, and the subject of the dive base caused a lot of excitement in the diving world, which could not imagine losing this legendary site. Discussions heated up on the web, which led to nothing but heating up the atmosphere around the interested parties, and the topic was also taken up by the local media.

In today’s tender, by way of an auction for the amount of PLN 1.9 million (the starting price was PLN 500 thousand), rights to perpetual usufruct of the land occupied by Orka Group Sp. Z.o.o. so far were purchased by Konsorcjum Inwestycji Gospodarczych Sp. Z.o.o., which is, among others, the owner of the swimming pool in Jaworzno. It was acquired by Konsorcjum Inwestycji Gospodarczych Sp. Z.o.o., which is, among others, the owner of a swimming pool in Jaworzno.

As assured by the consortium president – Leszek Sulej, who represented the site during today’s auction, divers have nothing to fear, because the current activities of the diving base will be maintained. People using the site so far, as well as local residents, may also expect development of sports and recreation activities.
