Do you already have an Emergency ID Card from the Safe Water Association?
Listen to this article

Think about it – on your last diving trip, whether for a weekend or longer, would your friends / diving partners / trip organisers if you were with a dive centre know who to inform if you suddenly ended up in hospital (not necessarily for diving reasons)? Do they know your loved ones enough to have their phone number written down? Do they know what medications you are allergic to?

Unfortunately, we usually think about it after the fact – it’s worth thinking about it before…

That’s why the Safe Water Association created the EMERGENCY ID CARD (EIDC) – a unique ICE card with a photo, 2 ICE numbers, DAN insurance number, transplant declaration of intent and allergy information. This is unique, there is no other card that contains so much information and is such a personalised offer.

EMERGENCY ID CARD is a must-have in your wallet – even on a daily basis

The card can be ordered at www.EIDC.pl. The cost of the card including shipping costs is only 9.90 PLN!

The website also provides more information on what the declaration of intent is, the ICE number and recommendations for the project from the Police Headquarters, Fire Brigade Headquarters, Poltransplant or diving instructors, among others.

Remember

  • Give the EIDC to the person leading the diving trip – even if they do not ask for it
  • If you are diving with friends – collect your cards before the dive and keep them in one place, e.g. with your car keys
  • If the person or the ICE number of the person on the card has changed – delete this data and order a new card
  • Carry the card in your wallet every day so that it is visible when you open it – you never know when you might need it… we wish you never had to use it

Encourage your friends to have an EMERGENCY ID CARD

The Emergency ID Card is another Safe Water Association project (www.swa.org.pl), which we have become familiar with thanks to the donation of defibrillators and equipment for learning and giving first aid to diving bases and centres. Among other things, as part of the “Safe Hancza +1%” project, 2 high quality Philips FRx defibrillators, first aid kits, a phantom and a training kit for learning to use the AED have been handed over to diving bases on the Hancza River. In total, 8 defibrillators and 3 training defibrillators have already been given to schools training future diving instructors.

We invite you to support the statutory activities of the Safe Water Association

You can do this in several ways:

  • Donating 1% of your tax – just enter our KRS number 0000319349 in your annual tax return (PIT). It costs nothing – it can save lives
  • You can also directly support the activities with a donation – by making a quick dotpay.pl payment on the website www.swa.org.pl or by bank transfer to the Safe Water Association account: 60 1020 1042 0000 8102 0199 0670 (PKO BP)

Safe Water Association motto:

“We set up the Safe Water Association believing that any action that raises public awareness of safe water activities and first aid is important. And it needs to be undertaken.”
