Some time ago, the Apeks company gave its answer to the weight limits which started to bother the diving fraternity at airports. Everyone who, at least once, went on a diving trip by plane and had a problem with taking everything will surely appreciate the new Apeks model – Flight. The most important thing in the youngest child of the British company, i.e. weight has been reduced to an impressive 340g for the first stage and 127g for the second.

The super lightweight and durable first stage is made of composite. There are four medium (3/8) and two high pressure (7,16) outputs. The whole shows that miniaturisation is a trend, not only on the electronic market.

The air to the second stage is guided by flexible and lightweight hoses made of proflex. The second stage and the octopus are also very light and small, so it is not surprising that they have zero buoyancy. A big advantage of this size is proper exhaled air removal. The whole is completed by the regulation of exhalation assistance(Venturi effect).

The only downside is that you can’t really use the Flight in cold waters, as it is dedicated to waters from 10° Celsius and above.

The new machine is a product which should be looked at by all those for whom there is no holiday without the great blue of warm seas and their colourful reefs. Incredibly low weight, great parameters and surprising durability closed in visually attractive casing – this is exactly what Apeks Flight is. Thanks to it, we will save a lot of weight and space in our luggage, and at the same time, we can be sure that our comfort will not suffer while diving.
