Anne is 27 years old. She has been ill for 10 years. We met her 2 years ago – at that time she still walked on crutches, worked, lived by herself and did not avoid many activities. Since one year her condition has significantly deteriorated. She gave up working, lived on a small pension and moved in with her parents.

Unfortunately, multiple sclerosis, which Ania suffers from, is a progressive disease. The only hope are very expensive medications – the cost of a yearly treatment is 50,000 PLN. Of course, the National Health Fund does not reimburse it. We want her to go with us to a pool diving camp – firstly, to have a chance to break away from everyday life, to remember everything she liked about diving two years ago. The camp does not cost much – only 650 PLN.

You can help Ania return to the underwater world by bidding for one of four tickets to the Diving Festival, donated to the Tacy Sami Foundation by the organisers, or by making a donation to the Tacy Sami Foundation account 89 2030 0045 1110 0000 0394 4560, with the note “Ciechanów 2019”.
