Located near Dorset in the south of the UK, this is Studland Bay. Its waters are full of rich and varied life. The ecosystem there is made up of everything from fish and crabs to snails and small molluscs.


The most unusual inhabitant of the underwater meadows in Studland’s Bay, however, is the seahorse. This beautiful organism, which is (what few people remember) a fish, has taken a liking to the local conditions, which perfectly suit its needs.


Unfortunately, the commercial use of Studland’s Bay waters, poses a serious threat to the existence of the entire local ecosystem. Action has therefore been taken to protect the site while it is still not too late.
