Widely regarded as one of the most respected events in the technical diving community, Baltictech 2024 once again provided a platform for education, collaboration, and innovation in underwater exploration.
This year’s event was supported by an impressive team of 62 volunteers, including translators, ensuring seamless communication for the diverse participants. The conference featured 46 distinguished speakers who shared their expertise across key areas of technical diving, safety advancements, and cutting-edge technology. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore a curated exhibition with 39 exhibitors showcasing the latest in equipment, training solutions, and underwater technologies.
This year’s event showcased a great lineup of speakers and scuba equipment producers, underscoring the commitment to advancing safety, knowledge, and practices within this demanding field.

For those captivated by shipwreck exploration, Stefan Panis guided attendees through the rich history beneath the Dover Strait. Meanwhile, a strong presence of underwater archaeologists presented lectures highlighting the critical importance of preserving cultural heritage located on the seafloor.

These presentations, alongside the wealth of knowledge shared by other experts, provided attendees with invaluable insights and inspiration. The Baltictech conference continues to serve as a crucial event for technical divers, consistently raising the standards of safety, learning, and responsibility within the community.
It is challenging to fully experience and explore all the presentations and engage with every speaker. Time always seems to be insufficient, leaving us yearning for more opportunities to connect and learn from the diverse range of experts and innovators in the field. Let us remain hopeful that we will have the chance to catch up with the missed presentations and engage with individual speakers at future dive conferences around the world.
