There is less than a month left until the 7th edition of Baltictech. On the weekend of 21-22 November we will meet in Gdynia to once again take part in one of the largest and best prepared diving events in this part of Europe. There will be plenty of interesting guests and interesting topics, among which, everyone will find something for themselves.

On Saturday 21 November the registration of participants will start at 8.00 am. Taking into account the experience of the organisers and how smoothly this matter looked in past years, we do not have to worry about queues.

The official 20-minute opening of the 7th edition of Baltictech is scheduled for 9.30 a.m., at which we will probably learn the last details about the organisation and the planned course of the event. The start of the actual part and the first lectures, as usual, is set for 10.00.

Right from the start, we will have a very strong accent in the form of a lecture by Phill Short, who will introduce the audience gathered in the main hall to the 5-year project focused around the extraordinary ancient find, the wreck from Antikythera. At the same time, in room A, Filip Długosz and Paweł Myśliński will present the topic “The Podgórze Uranium Mine – a unique underground site in Poland”.

The conference will close with a lecture by Jouke Spoelstra, ‘Searching for the Dutch submarine O13’, scheduled for 14.00 on Sunday. For those wishing to attend, a visit to the Military Diver Training Base is also scheduled for 4pm.

During the lectures headsets will be available, thanks to which we will have access to simultaneous translation in Polish and English. Unfortunately, due to logistics, all lectures are limited to just 50 minutes, with a 10-minute break scheduled between lectures.

You can register here. The full conference schedule is available at Baltictech.
