Both Magdalena Solich and Mateusz Malina have added another gold medal and World Record to their previous achievements, this time in DYN competition! This is an unprecedented situation, where Polish representatives simply dominated the competition of the world rank! Magdalena with a result of 232 metres reached for the highest laurel on her own, while the situation is slightly different in the case of Mateusz.

Well, there was an extremely rare situation, where two competitors achieved the same result! Both Mateusz Malina and a representative of Greece – Giorgos Panagiotakis swam 6 lengths of the Olympic swimming pool and with the result of 300 metres they jointly set a new World Record! Both swimmers received gold medals for their feat and can equally feel like World Champions! It is worth noting that this is the first time in history when the magic barrier of 300 m was exceeded!

But this is not the end of good news from our camp! Julia Kozierska, yielding only to her teammate Magdalena Solich, with the result of 215 metres won the silver medal and the title of world vice-champion in the DYN competition!

The Finnish Turku Swimming Pool World Championships will go down in history as one of the most successful for the Polish team. Apart from the highest laurels and consecutive records, our numerous representation has also gained valuable experience, which will certainly pay off during next tournaments of the highest rank!
