Nine competitors competed in the final of the ‘King of The Bubble’ competition. They came from different European countries, including France, Belgium and Germany. A total of 35 competitors took part in all qualifiers for the competition.

Participants had to show great skill, similar to making circles out of pipe smoke. The two-hour competition was won by 31-year-old Francine Kreiss from France, who was crowned ‘Queen of the Bubbles’.

joomplu:1076The amazing competition was filmed by Belgian photographer Frederic Buyle. ‘ZThe competition was designed to show how much fun diving can be. Divers compete to create the most perfect circles. They are judged on the size, shape, perfection of the circle and how many circles the diver can make in one breath. There is no universal technique for creating circles underwater. You have to find your own solutions and try whichever one gives you the desired results.‘ – said Buyle.
