The information we have received paints a different picture of the incident than the one presented above. As it turns out, the dive was not a training one and the victim was licensed to cave dive. However, the loss of consciousness occurred on the surface of the water, underground, not 50 metres under water. The casualty was taken away by ambulance, but an LPR helicopter was also present at the scene.

Original news item:

According to police findings, a dangerous incident occurred during the training of a group of divers. One of the diving participants lost consciousness. It was later established that she had suffered a cardiac arrest at a depth of about 50 metres underwater.

Immediately after being pulled ashore, resuscitation of the injured woman began. The victim of the diving accident was taken in a serious condition by the helicopter of the Polish Medical Air Rescue to one of the hospitals in Wrocław. Currently, activities are underway to determine the exact course and causes of the incident.
