A new record in statistics - 22'22"!

German freediver Tom Sietas has set a new Guinness record in the static competition. After inhalation of oxygen, he held his breath for 22min and 22s!

The test was carried out on 30 May in Changsha, China, and was witnessed by Ricardo Bahia and Marcus Werneck. The entire event was captured by Chinese television cameras. Sietas and Bahia are travelling through China to promote the competition, which will be held on 3 June, with Chinese TV.
